Prototype GaAs neutron detecting linear array designed and developed in the S.M.A.R.T. Laboratory that inspired the present project.
The neutron imaging arrays are fabricated using VLSI technology. As a result, numeous devices can be made for a relatively low cost. Shown is a wafer of GaAs-based neutron imaging arrays designed and developed in the K-State S.M.A.R.T. Laboratory.
